After a long (long!) hiatus, I’m going to ride Ragbrai again. It snuck up on me; a week from Friday I’m flying back to Chicago, and driving over to Iowa straight from there. The actual ride is from the 19th to the 25th. I imagine it will be a walk in the park compared to last time I did it with my dad. A few 50 miles days, a few 75 miles days, a few bumps in the road but nothing to bad. I’ll be sure to take some pictures.
I’m thinking a little bit about what I am going to bring. It will definitely be a week without my computer, but I am planning on bringing my cell phone, my edge 305, and my iPod. A few jerseys, a couple changes of clothes for after the ride, and a toothbrush. I’ll bring my point-and-shoot and I’m all set.
