I’ve finally transitioned blogging platforms, from Typepad to WordPress.com. Typepad was a great blogging platform. Simple and easy to use, no fuss, no ads, no mess. WordPress seems to do almost the same thing, but not quite as cleanly. But it’s free. Apparently there are ads, but I haven’t seen them yet. But Typepad costs $50 per year, while WordPress is free. And for $10 I can make my domain work with WordPress, a feature only available on the $90 per year plan with Typepad. We’ll see how this works for now.
The banner at the top is (hopefully) temporary. I can change it to whatever I want. I just took a screenshot of what was at the top of my blog yesterday and used that.
