I'm heading back to Deerfield this evening for Thanksgiving. Hopefully I'll be able to forget about work for the most part, for a few days. It will be short, but in less than a month I'm going back for Christmas. It's amazing to think just a couple years ago, I hadn't flow in 6 or 7 years. Now I'm an expert… I'm also in an expert in not bringing much. Or least least minimizing the essentials so I can bring the fun stuff. The bulk of what I am bringing this weekend consists of my computer, Settlers, my camera and my new lens.
I'm thinking about switching my blog to WordPress.com. It would be a lot less expensive than typepad, it seems like it would work just as well, and I can directly map my precious domain (phatpat.com) to my account, rather than forwarding, which is why you see links to phatpat.typepad.com here and there. Downside is it would mean a change in the look of my blog. And I only have a couple days to do it.
